Because turbochargers often work at high speed and high temperature, the temperature of the exhaust gas turbine end of the turbocharger is about 600℃, and the turbocharger rotor rotated at a high speed of 8000-11000r/min. Therefore, attention should be paid to the following points in use:
Don't drive away
After the engine starts, especially in winter, it should be allowed to idle for a period of time, so as to fully lubricate the bearing with lubricating oil before the turbocharger rotor runs at high speed. So after just start, do not slam the throttle, in order to prevent damage to the turbocharger oil seal.
Do not turn off the fire immediately
After the engine is running at high speed for a long time, it cannot be flameout immediately. When the engine is working, a part of the oil is supplied to the turbocharger rotor bearing for lubrication and cooling. After running the engine suddenly stop, oil pressure rapidly reduced to zero, the supercharger turbo spread to middle part of the high temperature and bearing shell heat cannot take away quickly, while the turbocharger rotor was still under the effect of inertia at high speed, therefore, if all of a sudden stop, the engine heat engine condition will cause the turbocharger stranded within the oil overheating and damage of bearing and shaft. In particular, we should prevent sudden flameout after blasting the throttle.
